Scotsman trailer restoration update
The spars were old and broken so we replaced them with oak 1x2's
Lots of dry rot in the rear section of the trailer so we removed the entire rear panel.
Dry rot in the floor was cut back 20" to get to good wood.
New piece of Mahogany plywood for the back.
Cut out the dry rot in the corner
Cut out and replaced.
Windows and plumbing removed (getting ready to skin the interior)
Sagging skin in the back was jacked up and reattached (glued and screwed)
New sub-floor in the rear.
End of the day. The wheels removed. We will likely replace the rims as they are in pretty bad shape.
